The Chinese Olympic Committee held a welcome reception to greet guests of international sports organizations including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), national and regional Olympic committees and International Olympic Sports Federations, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

IOC President Jacques Rogge, IOC Honorary President Juan Antonio Samaranch, members of the executive board of IOC, and nearly 1,000 sports organization officials attended the reception on Wednesday.
