Andy Murray has revealed he was sent a good luck text message from footballer David Beckham.
Murray, 23, said Becks, who recently returned to the UK after England crashed out of the World Cup, wished him good luck before he took on French player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at Wimbledon.
He wrote on Twitter: "Thanks for all the good luck and well done messages. Always nice to get one from David Beckham but trying to read them all!"
A source told UK newspaper The Sun: "David's always been very supportive of Andy, watching his games whenever he can. They've met several times and keep in contact. Andy was delighted to hear from him."
