BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chuang Chia-Jung of Chinese Taipei and Olga Govortsova of Belarus defeated the top seed to lift the trophy of women's doubles event at China Open here on Saturday evening.

Gisela Dulko of Argentina and Flavia Pennetta of Italy were listed as top seed in China Open, but the pair failed to show any sign of domination, losing 7-2 in the tiebreaker of the opening set.

It seemed the top seeds finally found their rhythm as they won the second set 6-1 to make the score even. However, the decider turned close again with Chuang/Govortsova winning 10-7 to secure the one hour, 44 minutes victory.

The men's doubles final will be staged on Sunday. American Byran brothers, top seeds of the tournament, will meet 4th seeded Mariusz Fyrstenberg/Marcin Matkowski of Poland.
