Police pursued the nude runner along the streets of Henley upon Thames Wednesday, near to the route the torch was taking.
A 27-year-old man is being held in custody on suspicion of outraging public decency.
The nude chase was probably not the sort of race that Olympics organisers’ had in mind for the Games.
Assistant Chief Constable John Campbell, of Thames Valley police said: “This was an isolated incident that was quickly dealt with by police officers and thankfully did not disrupt the Torch Relay as it passed through Henley.
