MACAO, Jan. 2(Xinhuanet)-- The Gongbei customs check-point, linking China's Macao Special Administrative Region and the mainland city of Zhuhai, recorded 260,000 passengers on the New Year's Day.

Fisherman's Wharf, a themed tourism attraction which was opened in Macao on Saturday, was assumed to be another stimulation for the mainland travelers.

The checkpoint logged 73 million passengers in 2005. Enditem
