HK residents reminded about personal safety in Solomon Islands

HONG KONG, April 20(Xinhua)-- Hong Kong Security Bureau reminds Hong Kong residents Thursday to watch out for the latest developments in the Solomon Islands and pay attention to personal safety in view of the riots there.

A spokesman for the Security Bureau said that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government would continue to monitor the situation.

Hong Kong residents who are in the Solomon Islands and need assistance may contact the Chinese Embassies in nearby countries.Enditem
