HONG KONG, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong Police confirmed on Saturday that they found three bodies of African origins in an ocean-going ship to Hong Kong on Friday.

A spokesman of the Hong Kong Police said in a telephone interview with Xinhua that after receiving a report that a dead body was found beside a container on the ship Friday afternoon, Police officers rushed to the scene, and found another two bodies inside a container.

He said the three bodies were highly rotten and three men were believed to be dead for two or three weeks.

He said the ship had passed through Congo weeks before coming to Hong Kong.

He said the registration place of the ship is still unavailable and the case is under further investigation. Enditem
