TAIPEI, Nov 3 (AP) -- Prosecutors in Taiwan said Friday they have enough evidence to indict President Chen Shui-bian on charges of embezzlement and forgery of documents in connection with the handling of a secret diplomatic fund, but that his formal indictment will await the end of his term. Earlier, prosecutors announced the indictment of the president's wife in connection with the handling of the same secret fund. Chang Wen-cheng of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office said that Wu Shu-chen was being indicted on charges of embezzlement, forgery of documents and perjury. Three former presidential aides were also indicted in the case, which involves the handling of a fund used to sustain Taiwanese diplomatic activity abroad, Chang said.
