HONG KONG, Jun 6 (AP) -- Andy Lau is wrapping up filming of a historical epic, making a cameo appearance in a movie his company is investing in, then starting a concert tour in China, a spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Lau is currently shooting "Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon," based on a battle from the classic Chinese novel "Three Kingdoms," and is expected to finish in mid-June, spokeswoman Alice Tam said.
Tam said Lau will then make a cameo appearance in a movie tentatively called "Brothers" in Chinese, a project whose main investor is Lau-run Focus Films.
Directed by Chiu Sung-kee, "Brothers," about a pair of siblings from a crime family who reunite after being separated at a young age, also features Hong Kong pop star Eason Chan, she said.
Tam said after "Brothers," Lau will focus on his music career, releasing a new album and starting a concert tour in China that will include a stop in his hometown Hong Kong at the end of the year.
She said Lau's next movie project after "Brothers" hasn't been finalized.
