JAKARTA, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Wang Ming-Chun scored 39 points to lead the Chinese Taipei team to upset host Indonesia 3-2 in the top eight round of the 2007 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship here on Tuesday.

It took Chinese Taipei one hour and 53 minutes to finish the thrilling match with 25-17, 17-25, 33-31, 21-25 and 18-16.

Chang Chien-Pang, who was sent on the court in the third set, had 15 points while Hung Jung-Chung had 13.

"This is really a hard game." said Chen Chun-Liang, team manager of Chinese Taipei, "The audience gave our player much pressure. I was nervous in the last set because if we lose, we will have no chance to qualify for the top four. God bless us."

Tirtana I Nyoman Rudi leaded Indonesia with 25 points, Riviansyah Muhamad added 20 and Sugiatno Joni 16.

"We had a chance to win the game, but we were to nervous and made too many mistakes in the key moment." said Hu Xin-Yu, head coach of Indonesia.

Indonesia will face China on Wednesday, Hu said it was hard to get a win in the match against China.

"We have little chance to win China, I think our winning percentage only at 30%. China had many professional players and they won many Asia titles before." said Hu.
