Macau has recorded two cases of dengue fever

MACAU has recorded two cases of dengue fever over the past two weeks, according to an official press release issued yesterday.

The release from the Health Bureau said a local resident, who works as forest rangers on the region's Coloane Island, was confirmed being affected by the mosquito-transmitted disease on Thursday. The other victim, a Hong Kong resident working at a casino, came down with the fever on September 15.
