Yuen said after the close final and also explained the difference between team event and individual events. "The three of us should perform as a whole, as if one of us is out of form, the other two will also be affected." After the 5-day taolu competition, all the 22 events have been decided as the medals were shared by 15 countries and regions while 11 of them reaped the golds. The athletes from Vietnam, Russia, Italy and some other countries and regions showed their competitive strength and great talents to cut a brilliant figure on the world stage and gift their team sole gold of the tournament, which can be a proof that Wushu is becoming increasingly popular among the whole world. With the conclusion of taolu event, the attention of the tournament could focus on the sanshou (fight) arena as the finals will be fought at all 18 men's and women's weights categories with some eye-catching bouts in store on Saturday. Wushu, also known as Kungfu or martial arts, is composed of two disciplines -- taolu and sanshou. Altogether nearly 1,000 athletes from 89 countries and regions, the most in its history, are competing for a total of 40 sets of medals in the six-day tournament, which opened on Sunday night at Beijing Olympics Sports Center.
