MACAO, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Macao saw a 3.0-percent unemployment rate in the August-October statistic term, down 0.1 percent over the previous July-September period, according to official statistics issued Wednesday.

The figures from the government-run Statistics and Census Service showed that the jobless rate in the August-October term decreased 0.6 percent over the same period of 2006.

Macao's total labor force was estimated at 318,400 in the period, the figures showed.

The special administrative region has a population of 528,000.
