HK stocks open 0.58% higher

HONG KONG, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks added 136.03 points, or 0.58 percent, to open at 23,789.72 Thursday, after the Hong Kong Monetary Authority followed the United States Federal Reserve to announce a rate cut by half percentage point.
