ARATS chief concludes historic Taiwan visit

TAIPEI, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese mainland chief negotiator on Taiwan affairs Chen Yunlin concluded his five-day historic visit to Taiwan here Friday morning.

Chen, president of the mainland's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait (ARATS), left his hotel for the Taoyuan airport at 8:20 a.m. after a send-off ceremony held by Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) chairman Chiang Pin-kung.
