HONG KONG, June 18 (Xinhua) -- The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of Hong Kong was 3.2 percent in the March-May quarter, down 0.1 percent in the February-April period, the city's Census & Statistics Department announced on Monday.
Underemployment rate decreased from 1.5 percent to 1.4 percent, the department said.
Drops in the unemployment rate were mainly in the warehousing and support activities for transportation, foundation and superstructure, and retail sectors. As for the underemployment rate, decreases were mainly seen in the construction and education sectors.
The labor force was 3,785,900 in March-May period, and 3,774, 100 in February-April period.
