BEIJING, May 23-- A middleware independently developed by Chinese software firm Apusic, the Apusic Application Server, has reached international standards and also demonstrated usefulness in China's e-commerce, e-government and e-application.
China's Apusic and America's famous Sun Microsystems have signed a strategic co-operative agreement in Beijing. Apusic has obtained Sun's highest level of system certification and both parties plan to develop the Chinese market and cooperate fully in development, marketing and technology.
According to the"strategic co-operative agreement" signed between Sun and Apusic, Sun recognizes Apusic as it leading Java core development and application vendor in China. Both sides undertake strategic co-operation to strength their joint effort in developing the China market.
Apusic managed this breakthrough after its V4.0 middleware obtained J2EE1.4 certification and joined the JCP organization. This signifies that independently developed application software in China can attain worldwide standards, obtain international"pass" and possess competitiveness in global markets.
