The International Forum on the Future of Simulator Education in China, a non-profit event aiming at promoting the medical education and improving clinicians' practical skills, was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on November 8, 2008.

Participants of the gathering included Abulaiti Abudurexiti, vice chairperson of the National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, senior officials from the health administration, and executives and experts from CMEA, Immersion and top medical institutions.

During the form, the experts introduced the policy and role of medical simulation in medical education and had in-depth discussion of the role of simulation education in promoting the development of China's medical education and improving Chinese clinicians' practical medical skills.

The technical staff of Immersion gave an on-site demonstration on how to operate the simulators, enabling domestic leaders and experts in the medical circle to have a better understanding of simulation education.

The forum was co-hosted by China Medicine Education Association (CMEA), US Immersion Company and Beijing Xianghuan International Trading Co., Ltd. and organized by Beijing Xianghuan International AD-Media Co., Ltd.

It established a high-end platform for experts on medicine and medical education both at home and abroad to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
