Shenzhou-9 spacecraft to be launched in mid June

JIUQUAN, Gansu, June 9 (Xinhua) -- China will launch its manned spacecraft Shenzhou-9 sometime in mid June this year, a spokesperson with the country's manned space program said here Saturday.

The spacecraft and its carrier rocket, the Long March-2F, have been moved to the launch platform at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, the spokesperson said.
