Richard Tesore, head of the Rescate Fauna Marina non-governmental organisation (NGO) feeds a female baby La Plata river dolphin in Piriapolis, 100 km (62 miles) east of Montevideo, December 6, 2010.

The dolphin, which was found beached near the city on December 5, is recovering at the reserve from injuries believed to have been caused by a fishing net.
