China's homegrown jumbo jet C919 was shown at an exhibition with the theme of China's key technological achievements in the past five years in Beijing, capital of China, March 7, 2010.

The C919, which is still under development, is planned to launch the first flight in 2014 and put into market in 2016. The producer Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) earlier expected to sell 2,000 jets over the coming 20 years.
