Toray Industries' prototype electric vehicle TEEWave AR1 is displayed during an exhibition showcasing the company's latest technology in Tokyo September 14, 2011.

 The prototype two-seat sports car, made using carbon fibre reinforced plastics and weighing 846kg (1,865 lbs) with battery, is jointly created with UK-based car design agency Gordon Murray.
