Is Paris Hilton running for President? Well, not really, but the socialite has hit the Internet with her own campaign commercial. The ad was designed as a rebuttal to John McCain's recent advertisement which compared rival Barack Obama to Hilton and Britney Spears.
In the ad, Hilton bashes McCain, discusses her energy policy, and her plans to paint the white house pink.
Sugarland leapfrogged teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus to become the number one selling album on the Billboard charts this week. The country act's "Love on the Inside," sold more than 170,000 copies. Cyrus's "Breakout" saw a 56 percent decline in sales, moving 163,000 copies and landing her at number two.
Singer Sarah Brightman will perform at the Beijing Olympics' opening ceremony on Friday. The British soprano will join Chinese singer Liu Huan to sing the official theme song to the 2008 Games. Brightman also sang at the opening of 1992 summer Games in Barcelona.
Finally, 007 will make his comeback on October 29th. Quantum of Solace will have a royal premiere at London's Odeon Cinema. In addition to the film's stars Daniel Craig and Judi Dench, Prince William and Harry are expected to attend.
