Ryan O'Neal and his 23-year-old son, Redmond headed home Wednesday (September 17, 2008) after each posting $10,000 bail. The father and son were arrested and charged with possessing methamphetamine earlier in the day following a search of their Malibu home. Police were doing a routine check at the property as a result of Redmond's guilty plea to drug possession in June.
Get well wishes for Hilary Swank are in order. People magazine says the two-time Oscar winning actress is recuperating at home after undergoing a minor medical procedure to remove a benign tumor.
Paris Hilton tells Reuters that her life is not all fun and games. The socialite, who's come to epitomize the idea of "famous for being famous" says she works nonstop in growing her brand, which includes her own fashion line, and a new album which should drop soon.
Brad Pitt continues to give. The star has donated 100,000 dollars (USD) to help support same sex marriage. The money will be used to fight a California ballot initiative that would overturn an earlier court decision that allows for gay marriage.
Elizabeth Hurley has a new career. Various reports say the actress/model has now turned to pig farming. The star is reportedly selling the meat under the label "Hurley Old Spot" farms.
