Oldest Hebrew text unearthed

Experts in Jerusalem are trying to unravel the words on a shard of pottery that could be up to 3, 000 years old.

The text has been uncovered by archaeologists near the site of an ancient battlefield in the Valley of Elah and could have wider implications for the emotional debate over the future of Jerusalem some 20 kilometres away.
