Thai PM Wongsawat will not quit

PM Somchai Wongsawat has been attending the Asia Pacific Economic summit in Peru, where he announced he had ''no intention of resigning.''

Wongsawat spoke in Lima as thousands of anti-government protesters marched to parliament in Bangkok in the latest phase of their campaign to oust the Prime Minister, who they say is a puppet of exiled leader Thaksin Shinawatra.
