American late night talk show host Jay Leno announced he will stay with the NBC network following his departure from the "Tonight Show." Leno, who's scheduled to leave the show in May, will host a new series scheduled for a 10pm weeknight spot.
Coldplay is firing back against accusations they copied another artist's work for their hit "Viva La Vida." A copyright infringement lawsuit was filed last week by guitarist Joe Satriani, who said the song contains portions of one of his songs. Coldplay said that if there are any similarities, they are "entirely coincidental."
British pop act Blur are reuniting to play a live show in London's Hyde Park next summer - that's nine years after their last concert as a four-piece band. The concert is set for July 03 and will be their first live public performance since London's Royal Festival Hall in 2000.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made a joint appearance in Los Angeles for the premiere of Pitt's new film, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." The film follows Pitt as a man who is born as an 80-year old and ages backward.
Pitt's film got an early awards nod on Tuesday with the announcement of the nominations for the Critics' Choice Awards. "Button" tied for the most nominations, 8, which it shares with the film "Milk." Among other things, "Milk" was nominated for Best Picture and Best Actor for Sean Penn. Winners will be announced at the Critics' Choice Awards gala on January 8.
