INTRO: Love was in the air on Valentine's Day in Mexico City as thousands turned out to break the world record for the most people kissing at the same time.
Guinness World Records adjudicator Carlos Martinez said that 39,897 people puckered up in Mexico City's main plaza to capture the title.
The record was previously held by Weston-super-Mare in the UK, where more than 32,000 people kissed at the same time in July, 2007.
