Nickelodeon says it has no plans to remove Chris Brown as a nominee for its annual Kids' Choice Awards, despite the singer's felony charges for allegedly beating up his girlfriend Rihanna. Brown is nominated for favorite male singer and favorite song. The awards are scheduled for March 28.

Rapper Coolio has been charged with cocaine possession, according to prosecutors in Los Angeles. The 45-year-old was also charged with battery stemming from his arrest at Los Angeles International Airport. Authorities say he grabbed a screener's arm to prevent a luggage search that turned up the drugs. He was released on 10,000 dollars (USD) bail and is scheduled for arraignment April 3.

Oscar-winning actress Jane Fonda opened on Broadway for the first time in 46 years. Fonda stars as a terminally ill academic researching the late work of Beethoven in the play "33 Variations." Although critics gave the play mixed reviews, most all lauded Fonda for her role.

Finally, Academy Award nominee Amy Adams walked the red carpet in Hollywood to promote her new film, "Sunshine Cleaning." The film stars Adams as a woman who starts a biohazard removal / crime scene clean-up service. The film opens on March 27.
