Joaquin Phoenix is taking his newly found hip-hop star role seriously. He jumped off the stage during a performance in Miami and confronted an audience member who was heckling him. Security guards dragged him back on stage and escorted him away. It's still unknown whether the confrontation - and his pledge to quit acting and start rapping - was real or a put-on.
Michael Jackson fans rejoice. The King of Pop will now play 50 dates at London's O2 arena, continuing his farewell residency well into 2010. Jackson added new shows throughout the first two months of the year, ending on 24 February. Some 360,000 pre-sale tickets have been sold so far and if all 50 dates sell out, Jackson will have sold a million seats for the run of shows.
From Jackson to Jonas - the musical brothers unveiled dates for their world tour. The boy rockers will set out on a 44-date series, hitting North and South America, the U.K., and Europe.
Scarlett Johansson is joining the superhero set. The actress has signed on to play Black Widow in the Iron Man sequel opposite Robert Downey Jr.
Finally, George Clooney could be at your dinner table, literally. According to U.S. network E!, animal rights group PETA came into possession of one of the actor's sweaty gym towels. They've written to him requesting permission to use his sweat to create a Clooney-flavored line of tofu. PETA says anything to encourage people to eat tofu helps to save more animals. Just don't expect to see it on store shelves anytime soon.
