For some taxpayers, AIG is now a symbol of what's gone wrong with the US government's bailout plan.

Adding to the backlash, news from Capitol Hill that 13 recipients of U.S. bailout money owe more than $220 million in unpaid taxes. When those banks accepted bailout money, they had claimed they were paid up.
