Sir Ben Kingsley was the recipient of the 2,410th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, ahead of the release of his latest film, "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."

On hand to honor Kingsley was Bruce Willis, who co-starred with him in the 2006 neo-noir crime drama "Lucky Number Slevin."

The Yorkshire, England born Kingsley, who changed his name because he feared a foreign name would hurt his career, joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1967 and made his film debut in 1972.

Kingsley said receiving the star was a dream come true.
