NYC approves Ground Zero Mosque

Despite the protests, a New York City agency Tuesday cleared the way for construction of a Muslim cultural center near the site of the September 11 attacks.

The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission voted unanimously to clear the way for a Muslim center , which would include a mosque.
