Canadian army medics in one of their makeshift camp clinics in Afghanistan.
These facilities, or Unit Medical Stations (UMS), treat Canadian service men and women as well as Afghan forces and civilians.
In this camp outside the town of Bazaree-e Panjwai a UMS team are hard at work.
The 12 member unit started its tour in April and say life here has become very busy.
In the last two weeks 14 cases have been treated on site and then evacuated to larger facilities via helicopter.
The team members pride themselves on never turning away a patient in need.
