A very rare Ferrari 250 GTO involved in a crash in central France has been described as being the most expensive single car crash ever.
The Ferrari 250 GTO in question was under control of Christopher Cox, an American businessman, when another vehicle has attempted to overtake it before they collided, seriously injuring passengers in both cars.
The U.S. businessman and owner of the Ferrari 250 GTO walked away unharmed but his wife broke a leg in the incident and the two passengers in the other vehicle were taken to the local hospital.
Cox was taking part in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Ferrari 250 GTO.
