Bush to make statement on Pakistan: White House

WACO, Texas (Reuters) - President George W. Bush condemned the attack in Pakistan that killed opposition leader Benazir Bhutto, the White House said on Thursday.

"We condemn the acts of violence which took place today in Pakistan," White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said. "The president will make a statement about the situation."

Bush, who is on vacation at his Crawford, Texas, ranch, will discuss the situation at 11 a.m. EST.
