The Nepal Trust bill was introduced to set up a trust for the welfare of the people by nationalizing the property of late King Birendra and his family members, reported a local media house's website eKantipur.
An eleven-member committee has been formed to mobilize the trust for public interests. The committee will be led by Home Minister while secretary at-large will be the vice-chairman.
A provision has been made to spend the trust in the health and education sector.
