SEOUL, March 7 (Xinhua) -- South Korean President Lee Myung-bakis scheduled for a summit meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush at Camp David in April, the Korea Herald reported on Friday.

According to the daily, Lee and Bush are expected to discuss bilateral issues, including South Korea-U.S. alliance and the ratification of their bilateral free trade agreement.

Lee is expected to urge the ratification during his speech addressing the U.S. House and Senate, the daily said.

However, the Presidential House said earlier that it was not in a position to confirm the summit schedule.

"We have no comment as the schedule is still undergoing adjustments," said Lee Dong-kwan, the presidential spokesman.

If Lee holds summit with Bush at Camp David, he will be the first South Korean president to visit there. The visit will also be Lee's first overseas trip since his inauguration on Feb. 25. ¡@
