KATHMANDU, April 9 (Xinhua) -- At least three persons were feared killed in an explosion in south Nepal's Rautahat district on Wednesday evening, local leading news website eKantipur reported.
The explosion occurred at Rajpur, Farhadawa, in Rautahat district, some 110 km south of Nepali capital Kathmandu.
According to the report, the blast occurred while the bomb was being assembled.
News reports of blasts and violent incidents have been flooding in as the much-anticipated Constituent Assembly election nears.
The Constituent Assembly to be formed after elections slated for April 10 is to decide the future political setup and the fate of the monarchy in Nepal.
