Sri Lankan FM arrives in Pakistan after cricket team attack

ISLAMABAD, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday after the terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team.

At least seven persons including five policemen were killed and 19 others including seven Sri Lankan cricket players were injured in a terrorist attack in eastern Pakistan city of Lahore on Tuesday.

During his visit, Bogollagama, as a special envoy of Sri Lankan president, will hold meetings with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and other senior officials, discussing the investigation of the terror attack, reports said.

Bogollagama is also expected to address a press conference in Islamabad.
