MOSCOW, March 14, 2009 - Russian police killed three suspects in last week's attack on Chinese businessmen, the RIA Novosti news agency reported Saturday quoting police sources in Russia's Far East city of Vladivostok.
Police stormed the apartment where the three suspects barricaded themselves, the source said, adding that "all criminals were killed."
Six unknown attackers raided a Vladivostok apartment on March 7 in a bid to rob three Chinese businessmen who temporarily lived there. However, the three Chinese nationals offered fierce resistance, forcing their assailants to flee.
One Chinese national was killed by gunfire and two more were hospitalized.
