NEW DELHI, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- France is intent to carry out combined action with India in fighting terrorism through close cooperation between its intelligence agencies and their Indian counterparts, reported the Press Trust of India on Sunday.
The news agency quoted French Ambassador to India Jerome Bonnafont as saying that both France and India are concerned about international terrorism, which he said is "a horrible scourge that nothing can justify".
Bonnafont said the threats from terrorists can only be addressed by combination of actions, according to the report.
Saying that India is a strategic partnership that involves cooperation with France in every field possible, the ambassador said the two countries have a very intense cooperation for the fight against terrorism through the exchange of intelligence, manpower and technologies, according to the report.
