KABUL, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Afghan President Hamid Karzai, while strongly condemning the twin terrorist attacks in Russian capital Moscow, described terrorism as the common enemy of humanity, a statement of the Afghan Presidential Palace released here Tuesday said. "These attacks against innocent civilians remind us again that terrorism as a common threat against entire humanity does not recognize borders and must be responded to by an even more coordinated and firm resolve," the statement added.

In twin suicide attacks against Moscow Metro on Monday, according to media reports, 39 people were killed and 65 others sustained injuries.

The Afghan president also expressed sympathy and condolences with families of the victims and the people of Russia.
