RAMALLAH, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) on Monday condemned Israeli army's "immoral" treatment against Palestinians during the Gaza war.
"This behavior reflects the immoral and inhuman deterioration inside the Israeli community towards the Palestinians," said Ziad Abu Ein of Prisoners Affairs Ministry.
Last week, several Israeli media showed images of Israeli soldiers treating hostages improperly, which were taken during Israel's three-week military operation in the Gaza Strip from December 2008 to January 2009.
One photo showed two soldiers pointing their guns at the head of a masked and handcuffed Palestinian prisoner, and another showed soldiers writing anti-Palestinian slogans on a house wall, including a promise to "return back."
Abu Ein told Xinhua that no international action has been taken against Israel for such behaviors by its soldiers, adding the idle international position would encourage more incidents of mistreatment.
Earlier this month, a Youtube video showed a soldier belly dancing around a blindfolded young woman stopped at an Israeli checkpoint in the West Bank.
