Sarkozy calls ministers to meet on financial situation

PARIS, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- French President Nicolas Sarkozy has called a meeting with top ministers and central bank chief to discuss the current financial situation, his office said Wednesday.

It's a "working meeting on the economic and financial situation," said his office.

According to media reports, Sarkozy was cutting short his holiday for the meeting, which was scheduled for 0800 GMT in the morning.
