5.2-magnitude quake hits India: CENC

BEIJING, May 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted India at 8:41 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 9 km, was monitored at about 26.4 degrees north latitude and 93.1 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
