HONG KONG, June 15 (Xinhua) -- A 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Mindanao, Philippines at 011410 GMT on Friday, the Hong Kong Observatory said.
The epicenter was initially determined to be at 5.6 degrees north latitude and 126.5 degrees east longitude.
The U.S. Geological Survey, however, put the magnitude of the quake at 5.5, with is epicenter at a depth of 69.40 km.
