Issues surrounding bilateral relations were the main topic of talks held between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihiko Noda.
The meeting was held in Los Cabos, Mexico, where the G-20 Summit opened on Monday.
According to President Vladimir Putin Russian-Japanese relations are now on the rise, but at the same time the volume of trade and economic ties is less.
The Prime Minister of Japan, in turn, said he was glad to meet with the president of Russia.
In conclusion, he said that the Russian leader shares his passion for judo and gave the Russia president a Japanese Olympic Team uniform and a portrait of the well known master Jigoro Kano. Vladimir Putin thanked Yoshihiko speaking in Japanese.
