Russia calls for responsible approach to extension of UN mission in Syria

MOSCOW, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Russia on Friday urged all members of the UN Security Council to take a responsible approach to the extension of the UN Supervision Mission in Syria (UNSMIS).

Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said Russia would support a Pakistan-proposed draft resolution on a technical extension of UNSMIS for 45 days.
