RAMALLAH, July 30 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian delegation headed for Turkey Monday to boost ways of aiding Palestinian refugees in Syria.

Mohammed Ishtaya, head of a Palestinian campaign to aid refugees in Syria, said he will head the delegation.

In Turkey, the delegation will discuss how to supply the refugees with food, water and money.

He noted that for Palestinians, fleeing into neighboring Jordan is difficult.

The discussions will involve officials from Turkey, which borders Syria, and international aid organizations.

There are about 4,700 Palestinians living in refugee camps in Syria and about 120,000 others residing in Syrian cities.
